A history of updates, improvements, and fixes to YouTube Bookmark Pro.
v0.4.171
April 20, 2026 — current
14-day Subscriptions Pro trial and a cleaner upgrade email
- 14-day free trial for Subscriptions Pro. New subscribers get the full feed-control toolkit for two weeks before the card is charged. Cancel mid-trial and the rail reverts to the free lane without hassle.
- Trial state is honest. Dedicated
trial-start,trial-consume-unsubscribe, andhas_ever_paidguards mean the entitlement surface shows your real status, not a guess. - OTP and purchase emails, redrawn. Monochrome layout, better contrast, no stock-template feel. The buttons are big, the code is obvious, and the sender line doesn’t get clipped on narrow clients.
v0.4.130 – 0.4.136

Transcripts, reviews, and an Analytics bento that actually fits
- Transcripts save to the library. Every pulled transcript now lives next to the video with narrative segment labels (Opening, Hook, Body, CTA) and a one-click download for markdown or plain text.
- Transcript review got visual. An animated narrative donut and a delivery-signal hexagon radar replace the old plain-text summary — pattern gaps are obvious at a glance.
- In-extension review prompt. After your 10th save we ask for a quick star rating with a direct link to the Chrome Web Store. One-time, dismissible, never nags.
- KPI Cockpit lives inside Analytics now. Merged into the Analytics bento grid so your snapshot and your dive-deep live in one view instead of two tabs.
- Flatter creator surfaces. Nested bordered wrappers collapsed across every creator pane — less visual noise, easier to scan.
- Per-endpoint timeouts for creator jobs. Gold scans get a 240s window, cheaper lookups stay snappy, and timeout errors now say exactly which step stalled.
- Fixed: review modal centering, transcribing busy state on the CTA, and a Whisper repetition loop that occasionally looped the same sentence forever.
v0.4.117 – 0.4.129
April 17, 2026
Whisper AI transcripts land (and survive contact with YouTube)
- Whisper AI transcript fallback. When YouTube doesn’t expose captions, the extension transcribes the audio itself in three tiered modes. Result saves to the library as a segmented artifact with Opening, Hook, Body, and CTA sections.
- Audio fetch path, hardened. Innertube player fallback, per-client API keys, tab-scoped fetches that dodge the “Sorry…” abuse screen, MAIN-world script execution and ANDROID_VR 1.57.29 for the no-PoToken path.
- Multipart upload from the browser. Routing Whisper audio bytes through a multipart POST bypasses the googlevideo IP-binding 403s that were killing the fallback on certain networks.
- Diagnostics you can act on. Per-client innertube attempts, audio pick counts, and a collapsible details panel on failure. When something breaks, the error tells you what stage and what to try.
- Fixed: ReferenceError on certain videos (creatorSectionTone scope), misrouted edge function slug, forbidden User-Agent header, and CSP-blocked service-worker fetches now that
*.googlevideo.comis whitelisted.
v0.4.110 – 0.4.116

Today Library, split tabs, and a light theme that finally behaves
- Today Library is the new default pane. Uploads and Saved live in separate tabs with a clear cost disclosure line, so creator-only views don’t surprise you with a quota hit.
- Saved-video health score differentiates properly. Detail cards now surface view, like, and comment stats alongside the score, so “why did this rank here” has an actual answer.
- Compare Channels wiring restored. Pane persist race condition fixed, Keep-healthy retired, Compare search now shows subscriber counts inline.
- Signal Map reveal animation. A gentle entry animation on the map instead of a dead-flat snap-in.
- Light theme, retuned. Neutral
#fafafabase (the old warm-cream cast is gone), and a contrast pass across Today Library, notifications popover, channel folder tiles, settings scope banner, and the Drag & Drop Coach onboarding animation. - Onboarding, smoother. The Drag & Drop Coach animation no longer stutters on lower-end machines.
v0.4.108 – 0.4.109
April 17, 2026
Cloud sync telemetry and a settings lock chip
- Cloud sync telemetry module. Every sync pass now emits structured signals so we can see why something stalled without asking you to DM us screenshots.
- Cloud sync identity probe. A quick pre-flight check confirms the right account is attached before we start pushing, preventing cross-profile mix-ups.
- Bug-inbox diagnostics. If you hit “Report a bug”, the payload now includes the surface state we actually need instead of a blank form.
- Settings lock chip. Locked-premium toggles get a clearer inline chip explaining what plan unlocks them, instead of a silent non-response.
- Library and Creator UI polish. Alignment, hit targets, and copy passes across both surfaces.
- Creator error hygiene. Known-dead states now surface with an actionable message instead of a dead pane.
v0.4.72
April 8, 2026
Cloud Sync gets smarter after sign-in
- Cloud Sync starts automatically after email verification. You used to need to tap “Sync now” manually. It now starts on its own and brings your bookmarks down without the extra step.
- Conflict resolution is clearer. When local and cloud both have changes, you get an explicit “Keep this device” vs “Restore from cloud” choice instead of a confusing state with no clear action.
- Settings panel works on narrow screens. The YouTube/Creator toggle strip collapses to icon-only buttons when the panel is narrow.
- Fixed: sync progress no longer sticks at 18% after verifying email.
- Fixed: channel-avatar drag/drop now keeps the real dragged avatar on channel profile drops.
v0.4.71
April 7, 2026
Cloud Sync reliability overhaul
- Sync queue survives browser restarts. An interrupted sync used to silently drop queued changes. The queue is now durable in
chrome.storage.localand picks up where it left off after Chrome closes. - Sync status is unambiguous. “This device is newer”, “Cloud is newer”, “Up to date”, and “First backup needed” each map to one clear next action.
- Identity model hardened. Cloud user state migrated from
user_idto(user_id, product)so Free, Pro, and Creator entitlements no longer collide. - Panel-aware tooltips and toasts. Flyouts open toward the inside edge of your screen regardless of which side the panel is docked.
